Brand for a community garden.

Submission to the Royal Society of Arts, Student Award.

Boherbee Cronn is a proposal for a community-led initiative in Tralee, Co.Kerry. The goal is to house a tree nursery to increase biodiversity while also facilitating space for wildflower gardens, a community area, and an education centre.
A solution that can be seamlessly incorporated into already existing urban settings, by utilising abandoned/ overlooked spaces already existing urban developments
The strategy is to create a brand identity for this new place that focuses on encouraging people to plant and ground native Irish plant life to improve biodiversity in Ireland, and to be friendly and approachable while also having a connection to nature.
The name focuses on the area in Tralee, the site, so using ‘Boherbee’, but it also allows for future opportunities if the project expands to other towns. They can use the names of their local neighborhoods.
