BRING IT BANK IT is a branding campaign for a mobile unit that will go around the country to different colleges where people can recycle their phones and other electrical devices. Based on research, people between the ages of 18 to 26 are less likely to recycle their electronic devices. The strategy that BRING IT BANK IT has to compare this issue is to make the act of recycling more accessible to this demographic by utilising a refurbished truck to bring to college campuses and other hotspots for this age range.
To give people a simpler, more convenient way to recycle their old devices. Using the college network to host and use student unions to spread awareness and promote collection days. The service would be a branch of WEEE (Waste electrical and electronic equipment), which would reassure people that their data is protected.
